Get Your Greens In At Africa’s First Vegan Lifestyle Festival
Discover veganism beyond the diet and see why this lifestyle is becoming so popular
Vegan food options are plentiful in Cape Town, but most people who don’t live the veggie life aren’t aware that there’s more to veganism than food. Head to Plumstead for Africa’s very first Vegan Lifestyle Festival to discover more about the movement on Saturday 13 October 2018 8am–6pm.
The festival will be featuring partnerships with local businesses – an initiative that will contribute to the Cape Town vegan movement – with stalls and traders showcasing the different parts of vegan living.
Expect local musicians, a Q&A panel, yoga, magic shows, raffles, workshops on recycling and zero waste living, tasty homemade food, craft beers and much more (all the great stuff you can expect from a springtime festival).
The festival invites you to visit their five featured villages, each highlighting a different reason why so many people have chosen the vegan lifestyle. The five villages are Animals, Health, Environment, Justice and Taste.
Here’s a reason to get excited about vegetables again.
