UltraNoize - Elixir of Life on Viben Street

Embrace the beautiful madness of psychedelic beats - there’s nothing inane about getting insane at a psy party

Some of the loudest organisers of psytrance events on the Cape Town party scene, UltraNoize Psy Trance will enliven you with the power of the psychedelic, at 12 Viben Street in Brackenfell on Thursday, 15 June 2017. The Elixir of Life bash will take place in no less than a warehouse (in true raw rave fashion) which will be transformed into a magical haven to mosh in, with a ventilated dancefloor and DJs on the decks.

Along with this there will also be an outside dance floor that has all the space you need as you move to the mesmerizing music. The sound, decor and lighting will have be perfected for the ultimate psy experience and feel. Keep your thirst quenched with the help of drink specials which will run all night - after all, you need to stay hydrated when you’re dancing away the night.

DJs will be scratching records and mixing up many splendoured melodies from 8pm until the dawning of Friday (which is a public holiday - Youth Day - so you don’t have to worry about the consequences of staying up all night). Expect to hear genres you may not have even heard of because anything crazy-wonderful goes when it’s UltraNoize - some include Psychedelic Bass, Experimental Dub, Glitch Hop and Dark Progressive - sounds like some brain-melting, eargasm-ing, stuff, right? A wide host of creative engineers of supernatural sounds will be playing for you:

You’re probably familiar with the idea of illicit warehouse parties that take place - never fear, this one’s legit and there will be security to ensure a safe environment you can freely go wild in. Just in case you need a breather now and again for all the jumping around you’re doing, you can sit outside by one of several burning fires to keep the wintry night’s cold at bay and chill with your chommies.

So surround yourself with happy vibes, the energetic crowd of free spirits, and a plethora of colour as you bask in the supreme UltraNoize of music at this stomp-worthy affair.

This event has an age restriction (no Under 18’s please - bring your ID as a safety net in case it is requested) and requires that you come ready to have as much fun as you possibly can. Brackenfell may be pretty far out for quite a few of you looking to go; it’s a smart idea to take an Uber and leave your car at home - as always, drinking and driving is not a risk worth taking (or legal).

Along with your shiny, shimmering, splendid attitude, there is an entrance fee to be paid for an experience like this. R120p/p gets you into the gate on the night - tickets can be purchased at the venue as tickets are not available online. The dancefloors open at 8pm and 9pm respectively, and the first few DJs of the night will be starting up at those times, so the place will be in full flow already.
