Two Weeks Of Culture, Food, Music & Wine At This Art Festival in Plett
Dip your toes into the artsy side of life at the annual Plett ARTS Festival
Head to Plettenberg Bay for a two-week arts fest from 25 June to 9 July when the annual Plett ARTS Festival comes around once again.
The small town will be overflowing with creative energy as unique cultural and art events take place throughout the festival. Music, pop-up art exhibitions, street performances and more can be expected. Street food will also be served during Twilight Meander along Plett’s Main Street, offering something for the night owls to get involved in when the sun goes down.
The popular Plett Food Film Festival (tasty food and awesome movies at select restaurants through town) will be taking place once again this year. The Plett Winter School is something new for the festival and will be educating and inspiring people of all ages about visual arts, music, viticulture, wine tasting and all the way to quilt making with workshops and short courses.
There’ll also be a nightly after party with DJ Jazztrain at AFRIDOCS, and Fridays will present the opportunity to chill at Plett SunSets with musicians like Koos Kombuis for a relaxing sundowner session and into the weekend. Even more music will be on Central Beach with the Plett AFROJAZZ event, where jazz masters Pops Mohamed, Dave Reynolds, Ronan Skillen and Charlton Daniels will open the evening up and usher in Femi Koya and his 9-piece band to end off the Plett ARTS Festival with a bang.
