This Open-Air Market Is Bringing You Brunch and Great Beats

Spend a leisurely Saturday morning browsing and brunching at the On A Rail outdoor market in Claremont

Message to all market lovers: There’s a cool new kid on the block, which you have to check out. On A Rail is a new open-air outdoor market that takes place every Saturday morning in the vibey and leafy suburb of Claremont.

One of the standout features of this market is that there’s live music that will be playing throughout the day. The resident DJ will provide easy-listening beats to accompany you while your peruse all the unique and quirky stalls.

WHAT TO EXPECT
You can look forward to a variety of stalls selling everything from arts and crafts to vintage finds.

At On A Rail you’ll find jewellery, clothing, handbags, scarves and way more. Plus, vintage lovers can look forward to finding some hidden gems that have been around the block a couple of times.

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD
Foodies, don’t fret, you’re covered. There will be breakfast, lunch and of course the champion in between – brunch. But don’t only expect the usual suspects. Look forward to speciality stalls selling cherry churros (a delicious, cherry-flavoured, dough-fried pastry), tasty desserts and loads of fresh juices.

Pooches are welcome at On a Rail too, just make sure they’re on leashes. The market opens at 09:30, so skip the usual coffee and breakfast in bed and rather take a gander through this market and treat yourself to a speciality cup of coffee and a tasty treat.

TICKETS TO THE ON A RAIL OPEN-AIR MARKET
Entry is R10 for adults and free for kids under 12. There is no ATM on site so remember to bring cash with you.
