Teen Pride Social Event at The Book Lounge

Are you a queer or questioning teen looking for like-minds to hang out with? Look no further, this event is for you!

Hosted by teens for teens, this social event is the perfect place for anyone in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and intersexuality (LGBTQI) community. Whether you’re in the closet, out the closet or just questioning the closet altogether; this is a great space for you to come together with other teens and socialise in a welcoming and judgement free environment.

If you’re straight and want to support your LGBTQI friends, you are more than welcome to. This event is for queer teens and their straight allies alike! It is a space for young members of the LGBTQI community to come together, socialise, share their stories and make friends.

The venue, The Book Lounge, located in the central business district of Cape Town, on the famous Roeland Street, is one of Cape Town’s finest award-winning book stores. It features a warm and cosy ambience with an amazing collection of books and comfy couches for you to snuggle up on. There is also a coffee shop that serves up Deluxe coffee and a small selection of scrumptious pastries and snacks.

Admission is free. The event runs from 5pm to 8pm.
