Stir That Veggie Pot: This Course Will Teach You Everything You Need To Know About Vegetarian Cooking
Veena Vassen invites vegetarians and meat-lovers to join her for a veggie cooking course
Get cooking and go green this month. Let veggie chef extraordinaire Veena Vassen guide you through the ABCs of vegetarian cooking. The course takes place over two consecutive weekends and vegetarians and meat-lovers alike are invited to join.
The classes will be held on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 and then Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July 2018. Meet at 11am in Sybrand Park in the southern suburbs, where Vanessa will go through the basics on how to prepare delicious veggie meals easily and fast.
Vegetarian food is about a whole lot more than just lettuce and tomato. This class focuses on creating meat-free dishes that are just as appetising as a burger and chips. You’ll learn to cook with various types of grains and veggies and also how to use spices to intensify your meals.
This course is about experimentation and fun. You’ll get your hands dirty. Plus, once you’ve worked up an appetite in the kitchen, you can enjoy a mouth-watering lunch before you go on your way.
TICKETS TO THE 2018 VEGETARIAN COOKING COURSE
Tickets cost R1750/p for both weekends and can be bought by contacting Vanessa on +27 0662180578 or +27(0)21 696 3124. There is a maximum of 10 people per class, so make sure to secure your spot.
