Springbok Pub Hosts Its First Cask Beer Festival

We have something brewing

There is no better way to ease out of summer than escape to the Cask Beer Festival in Newlands. This beer festival will be crawling with freshly brewed craft beer, live entertainment and food trucks all day long on Saturday, 14 April 2018.

With eight local craft breweries namely, Shackleton Brewing Company, Devil's Peak Brewing Company, Atlantic Storm Brewing Company, Swifty’s Bru, Afro Caribbean Brewing Company, Fullers SA, Dissident Brewing Company, and Metal lane Brewery. Each brewery will be promoting their rendition of cask ale  providing tastings and selling their blended brews to all the patrons. If you make the cut for the first 100 people through the door, you will score yourself a branded 500ml beer glass.

If the beer doesn’t have you sold, maybe the inhouse restaurant, the 6 carefully curated food trucks and live entertainment will. From the chicken, ribs or chilli poppers baskets, or pizzas, burgers, shawarmas ice cream truck. You will be spoilt for choice with all these delights. On the entertainment side, expect live performances from solo artists and a live band as well as a DJ to pump out all the tunes.

Titled as “In The Shadow of The Giants”, the Springbok Pub Newlands will be hosting their first Cask Beer Festival. This event theme is prompted by the figurative shadow that casts the pub and brewery. Which will be easily visible throughout the afternoon at the pub.

TICKETS TO THE CASK BEER FESTIVAL 2018
