Lovers of poetry and anyone who wants to up their writing game are invited to attend this three-day poetry workshop facilitated by professional poet and writer, Linda Kaoma
Life Righting Collective (LRC) is an NPO teaching life writing prose and poetry skills and also offers a publishing platform. LRC is running a poetry workshop from November 16 to 18 at the Observatory Community Hall in Rawson Street.
Bring a notebook, pen and thesaurus or rhyming dictionary, or use online tools if you prefer.
Anyone is welcome, and you do not need to be a poet. You’ll get the best value by attending all three days as each day builds on the previous day.
THE WORKSHOP FACILITATOR, LINDA KAOMA
Linda is a poet, writer, facilitator and projects/events manager in the arts with an extensive range of experience. She is a Salzburg Global Seminars Fellow and a CNN-featured project manager with over nine years of experience in project and event management in the arts sector.
BOOKINGS FOR THE LRC POETRY WORKSHOP
The workshop costs R700 in total for all three days. You may contribute R300 to sponsor a participant if you wish. The poetry courses are open to all and discounted and sponsored spaces are available to those in need. Email linda@liferighting.com to make a booking.
