A beginner workshop teaching you to use conscious dance, free-movement yoga and more to purify your subtle energy system for deep healing and self-expression.
Awaken your creative energy for greater health and happiness. Infuse more creativity into your work and relationships. Discover a practice and philosophy you can apply to any area of your life. Uncover Shakti-flow through a workshop at the Body Intelligence studio in Noordhoek on any of the upcoming Saturday classes.
WHAT IS SHAKTI-FLOW?
Shakti is the principle of divine energy and Shakti-flow is a practice used to harness that energy. Rooted in shamanic, advait (a branch of Hinduism) and yogic philosophy, this movement practice uses principles from yoga and conscious dance to better understand your own form and structure. When this is achieved, you can let go into the freedom of creative flow; dancing your dance of personal power and creativity.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AT THE INTRODUCTORY SHAKTI-FLOW WORKSHOPS?
There are introductory Saturday workshops on 13 April, 11 May and 15 June, each accommodating only 12 participants. The workshops suit all levels; no previous dance or yoga experience is necessary, but it does help if you already have an established practice or spiritual path, whether it be yoga, dance, music, massage, writing or any other creative endeavour. Wear loose, layered comfortable clothing and bring your own water bottle, which you will be able to refill. You’ll spend the morning flowing through seven different phases: tuning in, mantra, free-flow-yoga, shakti-stretching, free dance, relaxation and closing. You’ll also spend time meditating through movement.
