Take on the Kuilsrivier River Challenge –an obstacle and golf challenge charity event. The event consists of a 5km obstacle course designed for all levels from beginners to athletes and a four ball better ball (4BBB) Stableford golf challenge. A variety of stalls offering food and drinks for young and old will also be in the event arena. And, no matter where they finish, every athlete will receive a finishing gift.
The event is hosted by the Kuilsrivier Jeugtrust, a trust formed by members of the Kuils River community for the benefit of the local children.
There are four different challenges to choose from:
COMPETITIVE CHALLENGE
This is a race for the serious competitors. There are individual and team prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. There will be an exclusive corporate hospitality area, so you can display your banners and flags. Your entry includes something to eat, coffee and a gift. The challenge starts at 8am.
FAMILY CHALLENGE
This challenge has been designed with first-timers in mind and is a great introduction to obstacle course racing. Bring the whole family or enter as an individual! It starts at 9am.
YOUNG GUNS CHALLENGE
This challenge is especially suited for all primary and high school learners and starts at 10am.
GOLF CHALLENGE
If obstacle racing is not for you, then enter the 4BBB Stableford challenge. There is a waterhole on the course to quench your thirst and lunch will be served. The golf challenge tees off from 8am.
The event takes place on Saturday 20 October at the Jan Kriel School in Kuilsrivier. Entry forms are available online.
