On Saturday, 25 February 2017 the Constantia Waldorf School is opening its doors for their annual school fair. This fun day is perfect for the whole family, as the organisers have made sure to cater to every age group.
Get your spooky on at the amazingly terrifying haunted house. Think you’re brave enough? Then give it a chance and see whether you can hold your nerve like Velma, or you’re more of a Scooby-Doo (lovable, just a big scaredy-cat). This experience is aimed at older kids (maybe 14 years and over), as smaller children may be frightened, so now you have an excuse to drag the terrible-teenager along with you. See? Family-fun for all!
No fair would be complete without a musical line-up, and this fair certainly won’t disappoint. They will set up an Acoustic Lounge for you to enjoy, and it will feature local artists as well as homegrown talent from the Waldorf School itself. Get a taste for the local music scene with some easy listening while you enjoy some delicious fair treats.
Speaking of delicious food, let’s talk more about it; the fair will have a selection of yummy edible treats for you to enjoy, all of which were home-made by local producers. We at CapeTownMagazine.com love markets, we love food and we love music - this event joins them all, and it’s not far out of the city to boot. #winning.
There’s more; the magical matchbox castle is making a return and your little ones will be delighted. While they are having the time of their lives, you can be perusing the craft stalls in search of your next gift idea, or just a few trinkets to add a finishing touch to your home.
