Celebrate Whiskey in Style With The Pros At This Street Festival

Join The House of Machines for an all-day street party in the name of all things Americana

In the wise words of Mark Twain, “There is no bad whiskey. There are only some whiskeys that aren’t as good as others”. On Sunday, 27 May from 12pm to 10pm, The House of Machines is bringing the American South (and all the whiskey’s that come with it) to the City Bowl. Join them on Shortmarket Street for a full-day celebration of whiskey, Southern food and awesome beats.

House of Machines is collaborating with the topdogs of whiskey – Jack Daniel's, Jim Beam and Maker's Mark to name a few, to bring you Proof, The American Whiskey festival. Throw some of Cape Town’s top local chefs and hottest musicians into the mix and it’s a recipe for street festival perfection. You can look forward to whiskey tastings from some of the best international brands, whiskey-inspired cocktails, Americana-style street food, and plenty of live music.
