Capetonians love food and wine and there’s no shortage of events celebrating them. However, Noble Vice takes on a dynamic new approach to celebrating food and wine. Join them on Sunday 9 September at the Biscuit Mill for a food and wine experience like no other.
Following the success of last years event, Noble Vice ise back with an even more impressive list of chefs and winemakers. The event gathers six iconic local chefs and 30 handpicked winemakers together under one roof for an unrivalled tasting experience.
This year’s event is taking it back to basics – cooking with open fire, pure ingredients and stripped-down techniques, each chef will create a unique dish, culminating in a six-course tasting experience like no other.
Each winemaker will offer tastings of their signature dishes, while each chef presents a single menu encapsulating his or her food style. This year’s chefs are some of the hottest in the Cape Town culinary scene. They include André Hill and Henry Vigar from Upper Bloem and the Shortmarket Club’s Wesley Randles.
An interesting mix of local musicians will provide the tunes for the day and there will also be a selection of local merchants and craftsmen selling and displaying their goods.
The list of wine producers represents a gathering that is the first of its kind. Pioneers of a new movement in wine making, these are the renegades of the Western Cape’s wine industry.
