A family-friendly tribute to the unforgettable queen and kings of 70 years of music!
From Tuesday, 3 July until Saturday, 8 July, 2012, The Barnyard Theatre hosts the performance of the decade (or seven decades to be more exact). In a remarkable musical tribute, the 11-piece cast of The 7 Wonders pays homage to the biggest pop icons in 70 years of musical history:Elvis Presley, Carlos Santana, Bryan Adams, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Bob Marley and Chris de Burgh.
Fun for both adults and little tykes alike, whole families can celebrate the music of some of the greatest pop artists of all time with performers singing their chart-toppers! Elvis will have you taking a trip down memory lane, and Bob will have you chillin’ just before the powerful Whitney-like vocals have you rearing to go. The Carlos Santana act will get your feet moving, the Chris de Burgh performance ensures you never forget your great love and before you know it it’ll be the summer of ’69 (the Bryan Adams bit).
Showtimes are Tuesdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are R170, buy-1-get-1-free. Shows from Wednesdays to Saturdays are at 8pm. Tickets are R130pp. Visit the Barnyard Theatre website for online bookings, specific showtimes and further information.
