Watch Ajax Cape Town tackle Polokwane City on Friday, 15 September 2017 at the Cape Town Stadium.

Ajax Cape Town and Polokwane City shared the points when these two teams last met. Grant Margeman (19) became the Urban Warriors latest youth player to step up to the plate and make a mark in the PSL. Margeman scored the opening goal in the 16th minute, with Rodney Ramagalela canceling out the goal with a 40th-minute equalizer. 

Although our boys in red are second last on the log, Stanley Menzo and his men are hungry for a win this weekend. This is only the second match Ajax Cape Town have played at home this season for, and it kicks off at 7:30pm at the Cape Town Stadium. They’re taking on the mighty Polokwane City, who are currently sitting at eighth place on the log. After their draw against the Golden Arrows on the 19th of August 2017, Ajax Cape Town have been on a bit of a losing streak. Rest assured that this game is going to be a football bonanza; both teams are aiming for a win and they’d do anything to get it.

Good news for Ajax fans; Prince Nxumalo is back! He has recovered from his illness and will be looking to play a much bigger part in the match, compared to the 15 minutes he played against Orlando Pirates last week. Midfielder Ali Abondo is also back, and will be actively looking to make a difference in this epic football clash.

If Ajax Cape Town wants to compete for the title, they will have to start by securing victory during the early part of the season. Make sure you round up a load of your buddies and get to the stadium for a night of top-notch local soccer.
