Women’s Lifestyle Expo South Africa

Women’s Lifestyle Expo South Africa

Spoil and empower yourself at the exhibition aimed at celebrating and recognising women

The inaugural Women’s Lifestyle Expo is headed to the V&A Waterfront’s Lookout venue for a three-day showcase of health, wellness, beauty and pampering over the Easter weekend: from Friday, 18 to Sunday, 20 April 2014.

Brought to the Mother City by events management company Mint Productions & Destinations, this event endeavours to provide mothers, entrepreneurs, superwomen and single ladies with a one-stop location to indulge their senses and empower their minds.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE 2014 WOMEN’S LIFESTYLE EXPO CAPE TOWN

SPOIL YOURSELF: This event hopes to draw women of all backgrounds to celebrate their diversity and recognise each other’s lifestyles. Whether you’re looking to clock in some much needed pampertime or just want to spend the day with your girlfriends, the Women’s Lifestyle Expo offers an array of shopping opportunities, activities, informational talks and seminars and interactive demonstrations to inform attendees on the latest developments in business coaching, financial health, beauty, fitness, wellness and so much more. What’s more, ladies can also enjoy some serious luxury and take advantage of a number of services including manicures, facials, makeovers, spa treatments and massages.

TALKS & SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS & DEMONSTRATIONS: If you’re still not convinced, listen up. Lauded author and professor of exercise and sports science at the University of Cape Town (UCT) Professor Tim Noakes, top nutritional therapist Sally-Ann Creed and chef David Grier are all scheduled to chat to audiences about their latest book The Real Meal Revolution. Not to mention, mentalist and magician Larry Soffer is also on the bill to entertain the ladies with his mind-bending tricks (and mysterious good looks).

HEALTH, WELLNESS & BEAUTY: For those looking to rejuvenate just a tad or primed to take their health and wellness to the next level, the expo offers a number of choice service providers to choose from. Learn more about the unique and time-saving BODYTEC training concept; meet, greet or even join the ladies from the Executive Women’s Golf Association; or visit the Renaissance Skin Science exhibit and get all the information you need to make an informed decision about cosmetic, reconstructive and dental surgery as well as non-surgical rejuvenation treatments.

SHOPPING: Billed to transform The Lookout venue into a shopping mecca, the showcase offers ladies the occasion to update those drab wardrobes with the latest winter fashions, accessories, jewellery, beauty products, the latest in anti-aging treatments and more.

FOOD COURT: After shopping ‘til you drop and working up an appetite, you can visit the food court where a range of yummy treats await. Offering everything from super healthy to sinfully indulgent, the food court boasts something for everyone including a champagne and oyster bar where time is said to stand still.

KIDDIES ACTIVITIES: A supervised kiddies area will keep the little ones busy while parents go about their day. A nominal fee is charged to look after your tyke and there will be a range of activities for them to enjoy. Do note that children younger than four years of age will need to be watched by their parents and cannot be left unattended.
