On Friday, 15 and Saturday, 16 September 2017, the Thousand Sensations Beer Festival is going down at the Wilderness Hotel along the Garden Route. Prepare for a craft beer and foodie experience like no other, in one of the most scenic regions of the province.
This year the festival is set to be bigger and better than last year! The organisers have been working tirelessly to make sure that the food offerings will be top notch at the 2017 festival. They’ll have a wide variety of food vendors from all over the area who will be selling everything from pizzas to burgers to Asian food and, of course, delectable sweet treats. You’ll need something to nibble on with all the beer tasting (and drinking!) happening at the festival.
Speaking of drinking, the Thousand Sensations festival will be welcoming incredibly impressive selection of craft beer breweries and craft distilleries from all over the country to their venue. This festival wants to bring you the best of the best in local alcohol, and even some from a little further afield. Have a look at some of the names they’ve secured for this festival:
The festival will have 58 stalls, and even a braai tent. Once you’ve grabbed yourself a delightful drink and a table outside in the sunshine, you can head over to the braai tent for some amazing meat cooked on the coals. What could possibly be better than sitting in the sun with a beer in one hand and some delicious eats in the other. Say hello to the start of the summer season everyone!
No festival would be complete without a musical line-up, and Thousand Sensations have arranged a stellar show for you to look forward to. The acts include Herman Grobbelaar, Gaston, Michael Schell, Anton Gemmer, Jonty & Wade, Riaan Smit, Kevin Leo, Andra, Gypsey James, Behind Two Jays and Gaston & Sharon.
The festival is also running some pre-event tastings and experiences, which you can find out more about on their website,Thousandsensations.co.za. You can also find out more about their accommodation options for some seriously awesome guest houses and B&Bs.
