Looking for ways to transform you mind, body and spirit? Everyone is talking about the power of breathwork.
Are you stressed, tense or unable to find a quiet space within your mind amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life? Or are you interested in meditation practices but are unsure of where to start? Why not try this three-day meditation course happening between Friday, 26 May and Sunday, 28 May 2017 at the Art Of Living (AOL) City Bowl Centre?
The art of meditation dates back to prehistoric times and has functioned, for many, as a means of finding calm and improving quality of life. According to teacher and instructor, Mukesh Vassen, it is a practice that allows the conscious mind to settle deeply into itself, let go of all tension and stress and center itself in the present moment.
Everyone has experienced moments of deep joy and happiness when just for a moment the mind becomes so light and at ease, which is what people who practice meditation hope to repeat. The art of meditation gives people the ability to recreate this feeling of ease and calm alertness in the midst of the stresses we experience everyday. In just three sessions of two hours, the course aims to teach attendees to tap into the depths of their own nature and recreate happiness within themselves and an overall better quality of being.

Mukesh Vassen has been practising yoga and meditation for sixteen years and teaching the Art of Living course since 2006. He is Cape Town's first Art of Meditation teacher and will also be offering regular follow-up sessions for those who wish to delve deeper into their meditative journey.
