I bet you’re thinking – Valentine’s Day, already? Well dear, you are not alone. Every year without fail, the day of love creeps up on us and we are left mystified by how quickly time has flown since Christmas. We are here for you, and so is our Valentine’s Day overview filled with the best ideas to sweep your special someone clean off their feet. The market will be open from Thursday, 9 to Sunday, 12 February 2017.

Cavendish Square, in case you don’t know, hosts a monthly market. Vendors from across Cape Town head to the mall to display their wares alongside the normal retailers, giving you the biggest choice of goods under one roof. Shop local and lekker, or trendy and on-fleek as the kids say – either way you score yourself some amazing buys.

We do not have word yet on which vendors will be in attendance, but they will be showcasing everything from jewellery to skin care and interior décor to gifts. Valentine’s Day is about sentimentality, and what is more sentimental than a hand-crafted gift? Sure it wasn’t hand-crafted by you, but that is beyond the point. Get your one-in-a-million a one-of-a-kind gift; it’s the least they deserve after dealing with your quirks all year.

Entrance to the Valentine’s Day Craft Market at Cavendish Square is absolutely free, leaving you to spend more dollars on your one true love. The market is open from 9am to 7pm.
