Joan Armatrading Concert Tour in Cape Town

The award-winning British singer-songwriter is bringing her full scale solo tour to the Mother City

“East or West, what’s best for romancing?” If you recognise these iconic lyrics you’ll be happy to know that the voice behind them is planning to wow crowds in our pretty city. Catch Joan Armatrading on her last major solo tour happening at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Friday, 3 July 2015.

Embarking on her final major tour, Joan plans to leave the arena with a bang and treat audiences to an intimate solo experience. Fans can look forward to hearing some of her most famous hits  like, ‘Love and Affection’, ‘Willow’ and  ‘Drop The Pilot’ to mention a few. Armatrading has been touring for over four decades so staunch supporters will have a medley of smashing songs to look forward to.

For those not in the know, Armatrading paved the way for many singer-songwriters and has been recognised for her work in her home country as she’s received the prestigious MBE (so you can call her Dame Joan Armatrading) from the queen herself.
