Valentine’s Day is upon us and the folks over at Darling Brew want to help you celebrate this special day with your special someone. They are hosting a selection of events on the weekend of Saturday, 11 and Sunday, 12 February 2017, to help you show your sweetheart how much they mean to you!
Let’s first talk about their new creation; the limited edition Pomegranate Lager. This fruity concoction has the same stamp of quality as all of the Darling beers and it was created specially to celebrate Cupid’s day. They infused their lager recipe with fruity notes of pomegranate to give you a new take on one of their classics. Each bottle has been labelled with a red background and a white heart, leaving you the perfect place to write a lovely message and stare lovingly into your beloved’s eyes.

Valentine’s Day Lunch
The Tasting Room at Darling Brew really is stunning and it is the venue for this part of their Valentine’s Day celebrations. The romantic atmosphere will be set with live music being provided by Glyn Lewis Acoustic and the smell of delicious food will pervade the air. On the menu for starters is tempura prawns with a crunchy summer salad and a lemon and pomegranate dressing. The main course, which will be paired with the limited edition Pomegranate Lager, is either a chicken breast stuffed with locally produced Udderly Delicious cheese then wrapped in bacon or a lamb chop. Both of which are served with pomegranate glaze, pomme puree and assorted roast vegetables. The dessert is a dark chocolate and berry mousse, which we think will end off the meal spectacularly!
