Mont Rochelle Harvest Festival

In the wake of the successful inaugural Harvest Festival 2009, this exclusive event will provide an intimate, hands-on harvesting experience for a limited number of guests only

The harvest fun will start at 8am with freshly brewed coffee and pastries, followed by grape-picking among the lush vineyards.

Thereafter the fun gains momentum, with a stint of traditional grape stomping, followed by tastings of the delicious juice-of-the-vine.

Winemaker Dustin Osborne will then take guests on a fascinating tour of the wine cellar, proffering a taste of Mont Rochelle’s wines ‘in the making’.

Lunch takes the form of a delicious, traditional South African Braai (Barbeque), in the picturesque garden setting of the Country Kitchen terrace, with the lively sounds of master accordionist Eric Cloete, taking you on a foot-tapping journey around the world.

Guests may then test their physical prowess in fine French style, with a round of boules, during which impromptu teams will be called upon to bravely defend their title.

To commemorate this perfect day, guests will receive a Mont Rochelle Harvest Festival T-shirt on arrival and an exclusive gift of a specially labeled bottle of Mont Rochelle wine, to take home as a memento.
