Tee off for a chance to win their signature blends

If you're looking for one of the most unique things to do on a wine estate then take your friends or father for an afternoon of playing golf on a wine estate. Join the team at Ernie Els Wines for a fun chipping competition on the last Friday and Saturday of every month. Tee off from outside the tasting room onto the sloping green lawn leading to the vineyard.

There are varying degrees of prizes up for grabs depending on how close to the flag you hit your ball. Get it close enough and you could win a signature Ernie Els wine, such as The Big Easy or the Proprietor’s Blend.

You don’t need to book beforehand, the competition runs from 9am-5pm so tee off and then stick around to watch others try their luck while you taste some of the estate’s premium red wines. For R20 you will get two chances to hit a hole-in-one, and you can enter as many times as you like.
